This thesis is an interpretation that has examined the particulars and meanings of compilation, etc based upon the analysis on bibliography, printed book details, system and content organization of 『Uamsashilki(尤庵事實記)』 which is a biography of Uam Song, Si-yeol(1607~1689) composed by Jungam Kim, Pyong-mook who was the second master of Whasea School in the sixth year during the reign of the Emperor Gojong(1869). The summary of its investigated details are organized as follows.
First, the post-publications or republications of 『Uamsashilki』 was completed over three occasions in 8th year of the Emperor Gojong(1871), 10th year of the Gwangmu era(1906) and 1923 ever since the first-edition was released during the sixth year of the Emperor Gojong. This thesis has named each printed book as Yongmun edition(龍門本), Hueo edition(後語本), Jungambyeol-jip edition(重菴別集本) and Cheongju edition(淸州本) to examine the bibliographical characteristics of them. The structural organization of Uamsashilki could be mainly classified into two parts based on 「Sashilkihueo」 while its main details were organized as the promoting process of the Northern Dynasty Conquest Plan, Development Process of Yaesong (禮訟) based on Expulsion of Yun, Hyu(尹?) and Exclusion of Yun, Jeung(尹拯).
Second, while the compilating purpose of 『Uamsashilki』 insists on the pretext of remembering third sexagenary cycle anniversaries after the death of Song, Si-yeol on the surface, the sense of crisis in Whasea School was taking place as a Rural Group of the Noron Party influence stating that the cause of changes in the political situation from the Namin Party or the Soron Party influence was being provided as the friendship with Wae(倭;日本) and Yang(洋;西洋) which is like a beast by the Ruling Group of the Noron Party within violent shock of the West conquering the East around the time of the Opening the Port on the other side.
Accordingly, it could be said that 『Uamsashilki』 was compiled as product of historical awareness by Whasea School which had tried to set up the centripetal point by restoring the achievements of Song, Si-yeol who was a performer of Anti-Heresy Culture of Confucian Ethics by shining truth in the midst of lightness as a plan to overcome the crisis. Also in the process, the Whasea School to confirm spiritual awakening theory of 'Confucius-Zhuxi-Songja' and to imitate the scholastic mantle of 'Confucius(孔子)-Zhuxi(朱子)-Songja(宋子)-Whasea(華西)' on its extension. Especially, the intentions of Kim, Pyong-mook was also being published.
Finally, in relation to historical meanings of Uamsashilki , we could focus on the fact that it has basically prepared historical source and theoretic basis of wickedness expulsion movement by Whasea School since Kim, Pyong-mook while also being able to assign a character called one last souvenir of wickedness expulsion theory in which the political awareness of cliquy ground has been projected. Also in addition, the representation as biographical material on Song, Si-yeol along with the value it possesses as historical record of those days could be evaluated.
