Joseon Dynasty Confucians leaned to a lot of effort for establishment to thoughts to be suitable to contemporary social actuality in the processes that understanding regarding Chujahak was deepened after the 16th century. Toegye(退溪) Yi-wang(李滉) paid attention to teaching and learning(敎學) of Chuja, and to stand early Joseon-Chujahak used positively. It was a scholar it gathered explanation of a Classical Canon, and the Chuja which Toegye thought about arranged as the persons who newly made a Confucianism, and it referred to various opinions, and having gathered it to own places that insisted. An important foundation a figure of this Chuja established own assertion in the viewpoints that Toegye got in person, and he got new a system of thought, and to go forward to became it. He used a way to read the book which he would record quickly in order to not to forget it[Gilseudokpub(疾書讀法)] in order to get in person to be concrete it when he learn from a Classical Canon. Therefore, he continuously doubted it about opinions of the teachers which included Chuja, and therefore he was able to take own assertion out in IgiSimseong-ron(理氣心性論) fields. The academic trends that seemed to be this all faces by scholars was succeeded while living in the times that changed in order to exchange an established thoughts. The scholar whom he tried to pay attention to in the processes was Seongho(星湖) Yi-ik(李瀷). Seongho learned indirectly from thoughts of Toegye in succession to Kungi Namin(近畿南人). He was delivered teaching and learning theory of Toegye, and use bravely this, and made own thoughts, and go forward to teach pupils. At this time the educational method which caused an influence to be larger than what was each other to work hard to a study[Itakgangron(麗澤講論)]. Toegye liked the academic methodology that helped point short each other, and he studied while actually dividing pupils and an opinion. At this time the text which he paid attention to was a letter of Chuja having written on to pupils. Various academic methodology to teach pupils to a letter were written down. Seongho was delivered the teaching and learning theory of Toegye, and he studied hard with pupils, and he made new thoughts to substitute for Chujahak.
