The successful causes and results of Gwangjong's reformative politics are in substance as follows.
The successful causes of Gwangjong's reformative politics are kwangjong's prominent nature and commoners' confidence in kwangjong. That is to say, he had propelling power, judgement, and decisiveness. On the basis of the ideology of confucian politics, the will and the practice of policy enforcement acquired most commoners' trust.
what is the next successful cause of the civil service examination? The men studied Tang China of dissatisfied people of head-rank six raised the propagation of confucian ideology and the necessity of the civil service examination in Silla society. We can guess through Choeyung not only in Kyongiu but also many districts confucian education was a considerable level. That is, Tanmun was a monk was a royal preceptor helped Gwangjong, and national preceptor helped Gwangjong, and helped him preparing idea which fused not only Buddhist community but also common community, We can guess the poor class was protected and sustained through the Buddhist policy of Gwangjong, and they sacrificed their lives for Gwangjong
In short, Gwangjong's reformational politics could win success on account of the primary elements which made his reform successful were his propelling power, judgement, decisiveness most commoners' confidence in conducting policy, Confucianism was begun to raise since the last period of Silla, the maturity of atmosphere of the selection of fit persons for higher positions of the chief aim of ability, increase of his guards'arms and monks' and Buddhists' reform support and response, As the result war prisoners' release, the settlement of the civil service examination, most powerful families was purged. In this process young capable literary men and military men could become the ruling class through the civil service examination or military ability, and its door was prepared systematically.
