This article describes the injustice of the old women in the position of the dependency and insists of the old women’s rights of being cared. The capitalism society that esteems productivity has segregated people from the senescence and the death. The old women’s problems are set on the different context from the old men’s. The old women as housewives have dedicated to their family, but have been invisible and devalued because they haven’t done anything. Despite the old women support for their adult children’s employment, they are appreciated as the existence of doing anything. When the old women don’t help their family and should be cared, they are treated as the burden of their adult children, not their rights to be cared. But the stigma of the dependent is unjust and it is related to the devaluation of care. Once the just society can give care for the people who need to be cared and is not vulnerable, it is meaningful for the old women to be cared with comfort and institutionalized. And the care system for the old deconstructs the myth of independency or autonomy, and ensure our society’s security.
