The main point of Electronic Cultural Atlas is, for a grasp of diversified culture, a design of three dimensional structure of timeㆍspaceㆍsubject, security of all sorts of media data as research resources, then investigate three dimensional interpretation. In this aim of Electronic Cultural Atlas, I study a reason of attention of folk field, limits of folk data, practice of folk database construction, an application aspect of constructed folk database.
A study of Electronic Cultural Atlas is not merely construction of database. Construction of database is just the start, on the base of constructed database atlas of diverse subject is drawn, through internet constructed database and electronic atlas are held in common, and through an active application of constructed database and embodied electronic atlas diverse study is connected. In this paper, I refer to a possibility of this result of a series of process, and there is quite a possibility. Specially a possibility of application study that is climax of Electronic Cultural Atlas study deserves to attention on the pursuit of dimensional thought and interpretation. It is expected that dimensional and positive evidence of established discussion is presented, or considered a established discussion from a different standpoint.
