The objective of this study is to propose spacial features of small and medium sized urban according to parcel by establishing parcel information system based on theoretical study to be reviewed. In order to achieve the objective of this study, definition of space of city has been limited to morphological space of urban as far as its contents are concerned. Parcel, roads and constructions have been chosen as factors to structure space of urban in terms of morphology. On top of that, parcel according to this study is a basic unit in registering and notifying land and also includes diverse data on cadastral record, land category, border, size, owner and price of land etc, as a basic unit. With regard to the method of study, two methods such as theoretical study and case study have been applied. As far as theoretical study is concerned, literary study and trend of study relevant to parcel and space of urban have been examined. On the other hand, morphological feature in space of urban has been analysed by establishing parcel information system based on MGE 7.0 GIS software of Intergraph in terms of case analysis. 7 indexes including size of parcel, configuration of parcel, land category, price of land by parcel, alteration of parcel, roads and constructions have been applied to analyze feature of space of city concerning analysis of case. According to the analysis resulted from this study, results have been summarized as below. First, as far as analysis of feature in size of parcel is concerned, small-sized parcel is located on the edge of road in the center of city while large-sized parcel is situated in the inside of block. It can be concluded that small-sized parcels on the intersection of road has been derived from the partition of parcel. Second, parcel with irregular configuration has been the most common as far as analysis of parcel in terms of feature of configuration is concerned. High distribution of irregular configuration-parcels can be interpreted that they are the urban space which has been naturally created without urban development such as development of housing lots. Third, land category has been mostly changed from dry paddy to housing parcel as a result of analysis of feature of land category. The more urbanization is processed, the more agricultural land category such as dry paddy and rice paddy is decreased inversely. And urban land category including housing parcel and road is increased in a proportion to time. Fourth, as a result of analysis of land price, price of easily accessible parcels is the highest in a context of land price ds, small-sized road was the most common type, small-sized road was structured of grid-formed street system and the blind alley. Since accessibility of parcels surrounding small-sized road is easy, parcels with high price of land has been distributed along with border of road as a result of competition of location. Sixth, primary type of floor in the constructions was one-story while main type of constructions was wooden-one to be used as an independent residence according to the result of analysis of constructions. The result indicates that relevant area is a space of city which has been created from land of low density and also needs to be re-developed in view of urban readjustment plan including refurnishment of urban or redevelopment of central city. Seventh, with regard to the feature of the land alteration analysed, partition and annexation of parcel are most commonly executed. Concerning partition of parcel by year, number of partition of parcel has been increased as times pass by but retained the status quo later to decreased eventually. In the meantime, as far as integration is concerned, number of integration has been rapidly grown at certain point. Having considered aforesaid result of study, it is concluded that parcel is considerably important factor in the sense that it creates space of urban and provides mechanism of development. It is forecast that analysis of space in the urban based on parcel information will be effectively applied to planning and analysing space of the urban including plan of readjustment of urban and analysis of location etc.
