This study is aimed at developing and improving student's creative capacity by establishing the method on the creation of poetry in education through the image- selection. In this process, considering the importance of creative writing, I integrated literary reception and expression, because I thought that we could overcome the separation of writing and creating by only developing methods of teaching creative writing. First, Idrew the methodology of the images selection's examples from the Baek Seok's(白石) poems and applied to Mun Tae-Jun's(문태준), Ki Hyeong-Do's(기형도) and Kim Yeong-Nam's (김영남). In the next stage, I made the most of this method to recipient's creative writings. I concluded that this method was efficient method of teaching, in that, it could foster artistic expression, stimulate imagination, clarify thinking, explore the values of a keen power of observation on the things in our neighborhood, search for identity, to every recipient. Particularly, acquiring this method, writer can substantiate his experiences in a unique style. This is the factors differentiating the imitation of formal apparatus, and of poetic structure, which formed the main tendency in the studies of the creation of poetry in educations.
