With the rapid development of technologies of computer, information and communications, a great innovation is taking place in all the fields such as daily lives, education, culture, politics, economy and public services, and the social pattern is changing into the new society called The Information Society. In Education, too, with the appearance of the information society, new agenda such as the improvement of education method and the change of educational contents and environment come up to the surface and are materialized under the name of educational revolution. Especially, with the increase of the social demand that the change of education should be made to train people eligible to the knowledge-based society of 21st century and to bring up the leader of informationized society, the interest in the informationization of education is growing much greater. The Japanese government which is negative in the informationization of education also announced the report that while performing 99 Electronic Government project, it will carry forward a scheme to keep good maintenance of computer and to make best use of Internet to nurture the human power to encounter the informationized society from the young age in the elementary and middle school. This project can be evaluated to set up a cornerstone to wind the creative knowledge-based country through introducing ICTC Information and Communication technology, inducing the change of the system and upbringing the human resources who are required in 21st century knowledge-based societies. According to the project, Vision 2000 for Education Information, various programs are under performance for the information and communication technology, the essential element for the learning and education to be the basement on the open and self-leading learning society. Specifically speaking, first, multi-media equipments such as computer, TV, full-scale projector are scheduled to be set up in elementary, middle and high schools by the year 2000. Second, one PC per one teacher shall be supplied to all the teachers for the handling of affairs of students achievement recording, school administrating, researching & developing and educating by the year 2000. Third, two multi-media classrooms per one school shall be built and operated by the year 2002. Fourth, all the elementary, middle, high schools and all education administration organization shall be connected with the wire and wireless network in the form of Internet by the year 2002 Fifth, through the promotion of development of S/W and D/B for the use of education, electronic library, multi-media room, and advanced research materials shall be supplied. Sixth, electronic administration network shall be built and operated. The educational informationization project has great influence on the education field, but hereafter, is expected to result in an incomparable great change. In this respect, the research is required as to how the new paradigm of informationization will have an effect on the Christian education and how we should be ready for this change in future. With the informationized society advanced, it is necessary to enhance the knowledge of computer through information literary, to increase the efficiency of learning through IT (Information Technology) and the need of the informationized education will be much greater in the side of the cultivation of information competence of members who live in informationized society and the realization of informationization in Christian education. Therefore, the environment of Christian education should be changed in accordance with informationized society. For this, it is required that the direction and goals for the promotion of informaitonization of Christian education should be established with the focus on the direction of Christian informationized education, its role and pattern based on the change through the mutual organic relations with churches, orders and Christian circles.
