The purpose of this study is to disclose the love and the sexuality in the Korean modern woman literature. The Korean woman modern literature 1920's was made by the New Woman. They pursued the romantic love. But they could not realize their dream. Thus they began to have the difference from the opinion on the love and the sexuality. Their literature disclosed the contradictory idea of the romantic love.
Rha Hea-Suk, at first, conducted the pursuit of the romantic love and love-match-marriage. But she started to criticize the idea of the romantic love after her marriage. And she protected the idea of passionate love. Her literature disclosed the conflict of the romantic love and the maternal love.
Kim Il-Yeup experienced that the idea of the romantic love could not be realized in the life of the traditional marriage. Thus she idealized the love. She defended the idea of the idealized love. Her literature disclosed the unconsciousness that the woman was superior than the man.
Kim Myong-Soon was the suffer of the traditional marriage system. She was very interested in the sublime love. In other side her literature was disclosed her desire of the passionate love. (Chungbuk National University)
