The purpose of this study is to analyze employers’ recognition and demand for job training-based lifelong education for people with autism spectrum disorders. The research method used FGI procedures and methods for employers who have businesses that employ people with ASD. The contents of this study were presented as basic position on job training-based lifelong education for people with ASD, as well as operational contents, methods, evaluations, and conditions. First, the basic position of job training-based lifelong education for people with ASD was positive based on the quality of life in adulthood, and the continuous cycle of lifelong education and employment. Accordingly, the operation contents of job training-based lifelong education for people with ASD were presented with job skills training, basic self-reliance and job culture adaptation-oriented job basic training. And the method of operating job training-based lifelong education for people with ASD was suggested as dialogue technique, daily life-based communication-oriented job training, and additional lifelong education led by the state department based on linkage package. The operation evaluation of job training-based lifelong education for people with ASD was suggested to establish an NCS evaluation system related to career development paths by individual and joint businesses. Finally, the operational conditions of job training-based lifelong education for those with ASD are emphasized by the Korea Employment Agency for Persons with Disabilities to provide consulting services for supported employment and customized employment for those with ASD, thereby helping employers to perform their performance. The results of this study show that job training-based lifelong education for people with ASD can be implemented by the procedures of the employer intervention model that oversees the business. In the future, this study expects a follow-up study in which a model and a plan for job training-based lifelong education for people with ASD by employer intervention are directly developed.
