With rapid social changes due to the spread of COVID19, Non-face-to-face online class has become one of the major topics in the field of education. This study was carried out to develop the instructional model of aiming to look into the learning motivation and instruction satisfaction in university students. Thus, this study analyzed the learning motivation and instruction satisfaction an experimental group of 40 students in which case the flipped learning was applied. The questionnaire items of the flipped learning were classified such as satisfaction factor, attention factor, convenience factor and interaction factor based on the influential factors of the learning motivation by precedent researchers. In order to improve the instruction satisfaction, this study suggested the instructional model based on ADDIE incorporating the design thinking process. The results were the following: First, the design class based on project that applied flipped learning has been effective in improving the learning motivation and instruction satisfaction. Considering the learning motivation sub-variables, it was particularly significant results were found in the improvement of interaction. Second, in the course for design majors, the flipped learning appeared to have a great effect on lesson satisfaction. In particular, there was a significant difference in the interaction, which is a sub-variable of lesson satisfaction. In conclusion, design project-based flip learning suggests that students' learning motivation is effective in improving class satisfaction through interaction. This study is meaningful to help the understanding of professors-learners through the development of flipped learning model and make it practical to use in the education field. In addition, it is hoped that Flipped learning education will successfully settle into the education field.
