This thesis is a study on the meanings and the instructions of the studies on Teaching and learning Chinese Character. It figured out the meaning of the outputs from the researches on teaching and learning Chinese Character, through Journal of Korean classicaal Chinese education by <Society for Korean Classical Chinese Education>, and Journal of Han Character and classical written language Education by <The Korean association for Han Character and classical written language Education>; both existed until early 2022. And also studied many of the outputs regarding teaching and learning Chinese characters which were submitted to the Korean classical Chinese education , issued in <National Association of Classical Chinese language teachers>, which is a group of Chinese Character teachers. This study reviewed the papers and the class cases that had been submitted so far through the method of literature research. This paper figured out the meaning of the research as following. First, the achievements of teaching and learning by Chinese literature teachers through their classroom instruction experiences were developed into Chinese literature teaching and learning research. Secondly, these academic journals contributed to systematizing and developing the results of teaching and learning into scientific and systematic papers. Third, the outputs of the journals by the organization of teachers and the participation of a number of teachers in research contributed to the study of teaching, and learning Chinese literature. Fourth, the scope of research by teachers who educate various subjects in various classes and various step of schools, such as elementary school, middle school, high school, and vocational school, contributed to the diversification of teaching and learning research. Fifth, the evaluation of academic journals contributed to the institutionalization of the strict process of securing members and reviewing submitted papers in order for academic societies and academic journals to produce results in both qualitative and quantitative aspects. The characteristic that can be seen through this is that the research presentation in the academic journal and the empirical research of school field teachers have been reflexed. Finally, this thesis suggested the following directions for research on teaching and learning in Chinese literature. First, the development of teaching and learning models and research theories for Chinese characters and readers should continue. Second, field teachers' teaching and learning research should be constantly vitalized. As a countermeasure for this, with ‘joint research between professors and teachers’, it is to raise the experience cases of teacher groups to the ‘research level’ and reflect it on academic journals.

본 논문은 한문과 교수ㆍ학습 관련 연구의 의의와 방향 설정에 관한 연구이다. 2022년 초까지 존재했던 <한국한문교육학회>와 <한국한자한문교육학회>의 학술지인 한문교육연구 와 한자한문교육 을 통해서 나온 한문과 교수ㆍ학습에 관한 연구의 성과의 의의를 밝혔으며 교사단체인 <전국한문교사모임>의 기관지인 한문교육 에서 제출된 많은 한문과 교수ㆍ학습에 관한 성과를 가지고 연구하였다. 그동안 제출된 논문과 수업 사례 등을 문헌연구의 방법으로 살펴보았다. 본 논문은 다음과 같은 연구의 의의를 밝혔다. 첫째, 한문과 교사가 교실 수업의 경험으로 얻은 교수ㆍ학습의 성과를 한문과 교수ㆍ학습 연구로 발전시켰다. 둘째, 학술지는 교수ㆍ학습의 성과를 체계화, 과학화된 논문으로 발전시키는 데 기여했다. 셋째, 교사 단체의 기관지의 성과물과 다수의 교사들의 연구 참여가 한문과 교수ㆍ학습 연구에 기여했다. 넷째, 초등학교, 중학교, 고등학교 그리고 실업학교 등 다양한 급간과 여러 종류의 학교에 다양한 대상을 교육하는 교사들의 연구 범위가 교수ㆍ학습 연구 다양화에 기여했다. 다섯째, 학술지 평가는 학회와 학술지가 질적인 면과 양적인 면에서 성과를 내기 위해 회원 확보와 투고 논문의 심사의 엄정한 과정을 제도화에 기여했다. 이를 통해서 알 수 있는 특징은 학술지의 연구 발표와 학교 현장 교사의 경험적 연구가 환류 했다는 것이다. 끝으로 본 논문은 한문과 교수ㆍ학습 연구의 방향을 다음과 같이 제안하였다. 첫째, 한문과 독자의 교수ㆍ학습 모형과 연구 이론을 개발이 계속 돼야 한다. 둘째, 현장 교사의 교수ㆍ학습 연구의 활성화가 계속 되어야 한다. 이에 대한 방안으로는 ‘교수ㆍ교사의 공동 연구’, 교사 단체의 경험 사례를 ‘연구’ 수준으로 높이고 이를 학술지에 반영하도록 한다.
