This thesis is a study on the meanings and the instructions of the studies on Teaching and learning Chinese Character. It figured out the meaning of the outputs from the researches on teaching and learning Chinese Character, through Journal of Korean classicaal Chinese education by <Society for Korean Classical Chinese Education>, and Journal of Han Character and classical written language Education by <The Korean association for Han Character and classical written language Education>; both existed until early 2022. And also studied many of the outputs regarding teaching and learning Chinese characters which were submitted to the Korean classical Chinese education , issued in <National Association of Classical Chinese language teachers>, which is a group of Chinese Character teachers. This study reviewed the papers and the class cases that had been submitted so far through the method of literature research. This paper figured out the meaning of the research as following. First, the achievements of teaching and learning by Chinese literature teachers through their classroom instruction experiences were developed into Chinese literature teaching and learning research. Secondly, these academic journals contributed to systematizing and developing the results of teaching and learning into scientific and systematic papers. Third, the outputs of the journals by the organization of teachers and the participation of a number of teachers in research contributed to the study of teaching, and learning Chinese literature. Fourth, the scope of research by teachers who educate various subjects in various classes and various step of schools, such as elementary school, middle school, high school, and vocational school, contributed to the diversification of teaching and learning research. Fifth, the evaluation of academic journals contributed to the institutionalization of the strict process of securing members and reviewing submitted papers in order for academic societies and academic journals to produce results in both qualitative and quantitative aspects. The characteristic that can be seen through this is that the research presentation in the academic journal and the empirical research of school field teachers have been reflexed. Finally, this thesis suggested the following directions for research on teaching and learning in Chinese literature. First, the development of teaching and learning models and research theories for Chinese characters and readers should continue. Second, field teachers' teaching and learning research should be constantly vitalized. As a countermeasure for this, with ‘joint research between professors and teachers’, it is to raise the experience cases of teacher groups to the ‘research level’ and reflect it on academic journals.
