The purpose of this study is to analyze differences in elementary school teachers" interest on basic sports in physical education by using the interest-based acceptance model as a theoretical basis. 400 elementary school teachers working in areas P and K were sampled using the convenience sampling method. Of these, 394 questionnaires were used as the final survey data for this study. For the degree of interest by individual background, an independent sample t-test was used for gender, and the difference verification was examined using one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) for work areas teaching experience, and training experience. The results of this study were as follows. First, gender showed statistically significant differences in interest and performance level. Second, working area and teaching experience did not show significant differences in interest and performance level. Third, the training experience showed significantly differences in interest and performance level. Fourth, Training experience showed a significantly differences in interest and performance level. The results of the study show that elementary school teachers" interest in basic physical education was lower for female teachers according to gender, and 1-2 years of work area and teaching experience were the highest for more than 20 years of practice level. Lastly, in terms of training experience, both training experience was found to be the highest in terms of interest and execution level.
