『Hwang Jin Yi』by Hwang seok jung arranged introduction, point, conclusion based on positive idea about true life of the people. It was used rhetoric of presented discourse. That is, trying to convince the reader be composed of the introduction, insistence and evidence, conclusion. Of course, this is also arranged so that stand out the creative imagination of the author, At this time, it is arranged able to elicit trust of the readers about the narrator. So, this article analyzed rhetorical aspects appeared in 『Hwang Jin Yi』by Hwang seok jung focused on the idea and arrangement. Consequently, drew such three points. First, condition of balance faced a key figure and, mysterious introduction. 『Hwang Jin Yi』by Hwang seok jung is embodied a key figure to mysterious character satisfy elements of happiness. It described mysterious person have every reason to do a key figure by subjective and virtuous proofs. Second, it is certification by historical statement to impressive and proverb. The main point that should suggest the opinion and evidence is submit the story by impressive historical sources focused on fifth years now since Hwang Jin Yi was gisaeng. This untechnical evidence use with proverb, enhancing the efficiency of persuasion. Third, It is conclusion that appeal ambivalent subject and emotion. In other words, of course, It is followed general subject that criticism about hypocrisy and untruth of yangban, at the same time doing distinction to praise true love of the people. It was trying to convince the way in which appeal to feeling of the readers. Like this,『Hwang Jin Yi』by Hwang seok jung is literature of idea and arrangement to secure honesty and historicity of description, selecting the most interesting liable to ingredient for the readers.

홍석중의 『황진이』는 민초들의 진실한 삶을 긍정하려는 발상 아래 서론부, 본론부, 결론부로 배열하는 제시적 담론의 수사법이 사용된 작품이었다. 즉 도입부, 주장과 증거, 결론부로 구성하여 독자를 설득하려 했던 것이다. 이때 작가의 창조적 상상력이 돋보이도록 배열함은 물론, 서술자에 대한 독자의 신뢰를 이끌어 낼 수 있게 배열하였다. 이에 본고는 홍석중의 『황진이』에 나타나는 수사학적 양상을 ‘발상과 배열’에 집중하여 분석하였다. 그 결과 다음과 같은 세 가지 점이 도출되었다. 첫째, 주동인물이 처한 균형상태와 신비론적 서론부이다. 홍석중의 『황진이』는 주동인물을 행복의 요소를 두루 갖춘 신비한 인물로 형상화 하였다. 주관적이고 도덕적인 증거들에 의해 주동인물이 될 만한 신비한 사람으로 그려내고 있었던 것이다. 둘째, 감동적인 역사적 진술부와 속담법에 의한 증명부이다. 주장과 증거를 제시해야 하는 이 본론부에서는 황진이가 기생이 된 지 5년 째 해에 집중하여 감동적인 역사적 사료들을 통해 이야기를 진술한다. 이런 기술외적인 증거를 속담법과 함께 사용하면서 설득효과를 높이고 있었다. 셋째, 양가적 주제와 감정에 호소하는 결론부이다. 홍석중의 『황진이』는 주제가 양가적이다. 즉 양반의 위선과 거짓에 대한 비판이란 일반적 주제를 따랐음은 물론, 민초들의 진실된 사랑을 찬양하는 구별짓기를 동시에 하고 있었다. 이를 독자의 감정에 호소하는 방법으로 설득하고 있었다. 이처럼 홍석중의 『황진이』는 독자들이 가장 흥미 있어 할 재료를 선택하여 서사의 진실성과 역사성을 확보하려는 발상과 배열의 작품이었다.
