This paper studies how unique architectural philosophies of Hans Hollein and Arata Isozaki have been manifested as architectural characteristics in their Museum Abteiberg and LA MoCA, and how they cope with architectural demands of the museum architecture. Even though these two museums have revealed different aspects as a result of different architectural attitudes of each architect, different site condition and design guide, they show commonness like revealing to draw visitors, hiding by means of division, fragmentation and descending approach, groping for differentiation and consistency to correspond with diversified contemporary art and for concentration on exposed objets. The results of this research show that two architects of these museums, standing firmly on their own architectural philosophies, are royal to the basic demands of the museum architecture.
