The aim of this study is to utilize dietary management with precise galactose contents in foods for galactosemia patients. In order to establish an analytical method for improved detection sensitivity upon major free sugar in foods, we compared and estimated LOD, LOQ, and linearity of calibration curve of the use of a liquid chromatography with evaporative light-scattering detector, and the use of a gas chromatography with flame ionization detector.
