This study analyzed the political significance of the thoughts of postcolonialism and schizophrenia in the poems of Kim Dong-myeong. And this study maked an attepmt of schizoanalysis of schizophrenia. Throughout activity to write poems, Kim Dong-myeong experienced the repressive reality of Japanese colonialism and Soviet totalitarian society. However, the real experience of totalitarianism and imperialism distinguished between the self and the other, the ruler and the dominant. And hierarchical order and boundaries were deconstructed. This is Kim Dong-myeong’s poetic spirit. In particular, Kim Dong-myeong published a collection of poems such as The 三八線(38 Line), 하늘(Heaven), and 珍珠灣(Pearl Harbor), which were published after liberation. This collection of poetry tried to escape post-colonialism and Japanese imperialism. So he was eager to create a new democratic and independent state. So he dismantled the myth of Japanese fascist imperialism. And he exposed the brutality of Japanese imperialism. Japanese imperialism exploited and invaded minorities. His poems contemplated schizophrenia, seeking solidarity with ethnic minorities. And he desires it. However, after liberation, Kim Dong-myeong sees neo-colonialism like Japanese imperialism rather than communism in North Korea. Neo-colonial and totalitarian rule were repeated in North Korea. He satirizes and ridiculed it as a poem. The reality of the ‘38 Lines’ is a geographical boundary that blocks the North Korea and South Korea. This boundary is the limiting line that blocks ideology, movement, and belief. Kim Dong-myeong tried to dismantle the ‘38 Lines’ as people's conscious struggle. In Soviet socialist rule after liberation, people were subordinated to feudal, old imperial, and totalitarian powers. It is a subordinate group. Kim Dong-myeong crosses the ‘38 Line’ and escapes to South Korea. Therefore, the ‘38th line’ after liberation is the boundary of imperialism. This boundary is the limit of Kim Dong-myeong's imagination of national liberation through literature in North Korea.
