Starting with Focus on Form(FonF)’s theory, we will examine the problems in grammar descriptions of high school Chinese textbook, which is compiled centering on the ability to communicate. As a result of the analysis, the following conclusions were drawn: First, it is necessary to adjust the pages of various activities and cultural areas that are not directly related to the text in textbooks. Second, after obtaining additional pages, the amount of input associated with the content of the text should be expanded to provide learners with self-directed learning opportunities. Third, from a relative perspective, fluency should be set as the goal of advanced-level textbooks and the focus should be on improving accuracy in beginner-level textbooks. Fourth, these classes should be centered on textbooks, not on the passion and sacrifice of individual teachers. It is necessary to actively use QR codes and PPT methods currently used by various publishers to ensure that all students in the country receive homogeneous classes.
