Background
Left trisectionectomy [(LHT) resection of segments 2, 3, 4, 5, and 8] various indications is still a challenging procedure with unfavorably high postoperative morbidity and mortality. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the safety and efficacy of LHT by reviewing our experiences with it.
Materials and methods
From June 2005 to December 2019, a total of 52 patients underwent LHT for various indications at our institution. Data were collected on patient’s demographics data, intraoperative details, short- and long-term outcome from a medical record retrospectively.
Results
