The purpose of this study is to promote a pilot project for Disability Inclusion diagnosis, evaluate its achievements and problems, and propose a business operation plan for effective operation of this project in the future. The disability-friendliness diagnostic tool consists of indicators that were first completed through 18-year prior research and 19-year indicator development research at the Korea Employment Development Institute.
The main contents of the pilot project research are the implementation of the pilot project and the evaluation of the pilot project. The pilot project was conducted for 21 private enterprises and 12 public institutions. The pilot project evaluation was based on the logic model evaluation model and evaluated by calculating input activities and measuring project effects. Through the results of the study, a plan for operation and utilization of the disability-friendly diagnosis project was presented, and it can be used as customized disability-friendly consulting and corporate support, corporate social value creation, and selection criteria for model employers employing the disabled.
Suggestions for successful introduction were also prepared, mentioning the necessity of spreading social consensus for acceptance of disability-friendly management, effective connection with corporate support services, establishment of diagnostic business infrastructure, legal review for introduction of the system, and introduction of a disability-friendly management certification system.
