In this study, we introduce the summary, composition, and reading comprehension of J.TEST, which is not well known to the public and clarify the appearing trend of adverbs as part of adverb vocabulary education of Japanese learners in Korea. The results of this review are as follows; ① The sequence of appearance in J.TEST’s reading comprehension questions was the mail, notice, notification, sentence, book, and newspaper. The publication years of the books were about 13 years ago, and the exam questions for the newspapers were written from the newspapers of the previous year of the examination year. ② In the reading comprehension type, for the questions of selecting expressions in parentheses was asking for conjunctions or adverb expressions. ③When the adverbs appearing in J.TEST were examined using the JLPT levels, 25 adverbs that did not appear at the JLPT levels appeared and there were a large number of onomatopoeia and onomatopoeia. ④ Onomatopoeia and mimic words were the distractors for the questions on adverbs, and the adverbs of J.TEST were similar in terms of the appearing trend to the adverbs in the JPT rather than JLPT among the adverbs commonly found in the JLPT and JPT tests.
