This article aims at estimating the establishment period of Baekje"s Taehak(太學: National Academy) by reviewing records of ‘Baksa(博士: the erudite)" of Baekje and the transformation process of the Chinese dynasty"s Taixue(太學), and estimating the Confucianism education content of the Baekje Taehak by examining that of Liusong (劉宋), Tang(唐), Silla, and Japan and the Confucian text"s exchange in Baekje. A summary is as follows.
As for transformation process of the Chinese dynasty"s Taixue, the effect of Liang(梁), where Taixue was promoted, should be considered first rather than that of Dongjin(東晉), where Taixue withered. Even there is high probability of nonexistence of Taixue by the time when it was assumed that Taehak was established under the influence of Dongjin.
Liusong, Tang, Silla, and Japan"s Confucianism education contents had a common feature that it was consisted of ‘Five Classics(五經) + Lunyu(論語)’ and ‘Xiaojing(孝經)’, and Shi(詩) Shu(書) Yi(易) of Five Classics were all unified into ‘Maoshi(毛詩)’, ‘Shangshu(尙書)’ and ‘Zhouyi(周易)’. This article judged that the common features were applied to Baekje likewise, and that Three Ritual Classics(三禮) were all adopted for education purposes and ‘Zhouli(周禮)’ and ‘Chunqiuzuoshichuan(春秋左氏傳)’ were emphasized in Baekje.
