We consider a WNCS (Wireless Networked Control System), in which the controller transmits the control input to the plant through a wireless network. The unavoidable time-varying delay in the WNCS is modeled by the input delay of plant, and the predictor feedback controller is employed to compensate for the input delay. We consider the time-varying part of the input delay as a delay error, and derive a sufficient condition to achieve the exponential stability even in the presence of the delay error. The numerical example demonstrates the validity of the sufficient condition for the exponential stability and the usefulness of the predictor feedback controller to deal with the time-varying delay.
