This article is based on the academic trajectory of a scholar who has spoken out about the topic of history and folklore. At the start of the study, I considered a critical review of colonial folklore, and sincerely advocates “folklore as history science”, and sincerely asks serious questions about scholarship and progress. In the history folklore, the fields that the researchers have pioneered or are interested in are the three areas of material and production style, people’s life history, and interdisciplinary research. As a research material, various fields can be discussed, but I believe that I have pioneered the research results in the above three parts. Nowadays, the field of interest of the academic studies has shifted from the cultural history to the category of civilization. At the end of this paper, I will add a list of books and suggest the academic trajectories and their achievements.
