The purpose of this study is to enable the health information manager to operate the hospital information system and to understand the database structure in which the medical data is stored in order to acquire practical affairs ability in medical data management. In addition, the study was conducted to learn data management tips and techniques by extracting, collecting and analyzing patient and medical data. Therefore, it is possible to understand the data generation process of the program using the patient registration, doctor prescription, medical expenses payment program, and to understand the database structure in which the data generated from the practice program is stored. in addition, by understanding the data extraction process and method using SQL, it is expected to improve the data management ability for statistical analysis. However, in order to operate the practice course proposed in this study, step-by-step curriculum that can be operated as a uniform curriculum in schools is required. In addition, in order to understand and guide the curriculum, instructors should have professional health information management knowledge and skills, and a practical environment for managing medical data using the hospital information system should be prepared.
