최근 콩에 대한 기능성 성분이 중요시되면서 anthocyanin을 함유한 검정콩 품종에 대한 요구가 증가하고 있다. 콩의 기능성을 높이기 위하여 antinutritional 물질인 kunitz trypsin
inhibitor 단백질이 결핍된 검정콩 품종을 육성하기 위한 KTI 단백질 결핍 검정콩 계통을 선발하기 위하여 본 실험을 수행하여 얻어진 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 검정 녹색자엽 국
내 재래종인 “20M183”과 KTI 단백질이 결핍되어 있는 “C242”(titi)의 교배로부터 얻어진 F2 집단에서 검정종피 녹색자엽 및 kunitz trypsin inhibitor 단백질이 결핍된 두 개체 선발하였다. 선발된 F2 유래 F3 와 F4식물체에서 김정 종피색, 녹색자엽, kunitz trypsin inhibitor 단백질 결핍 형질이 고정되었으며 포장에서 고정된 F4 식물체로부터 조사된 초장은 35 cm 백립중은 20 g이었다. 선발 고정된 계통은 KTI 단백질 결핍 검정콩 육종 모본으로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 보인다.
