Amitabha alone painting in 1306, a typical Buddha painting in the early 14th century, shows various features and significance. First, it is possible to reveal the background of the composition of Amitabha alone painting from the painting record. Above of all, we should pay more attention to the requester of this Buddha painting, "Gyemun", and next, Bok-su in Kwon Bok-su (權 福壽), the donor, then, is likely to be Kwon Tan, Kwon Bu, and Kwon Jae of Andong Kwon's family, but Bok-su was not a name or a calling, meaning that it would be a blessing to all of the Kwon's family for their blessing and long-life. Second, on the other hand, in many ways, it is suggested that the painter of this Buddha painting would be Jahoe (自回) who painted Amitabha Raeyeongdo in 1286. Third, this Amitabha alone painting can be regarded as one of the most representative reference works of this type of iconography in the same type of Buddha painting as Amitabha alone painting housed by Okrimwon. Fourth, we revealed that this Amitabha alone painting as the second period Buddha painting of (1270-1306) of the second half of Goryeo should be highly regarded as a representative and excellent style of Amitabha painting which decorates the end of the Buddha painting style of the transition at this time. Fifth, we revealed that there is a great historical significance in that this Amitabha alone painting is a living material evidence in the subtle international relations of Goryeo and Mongolia, and the existence of conspiracy and conflict in the struggle between father and son, king Chungyeol and king Chungseon for the throne and the complex subtle circumstances of the time.
