The purpose of this study was to suggest the tasks for the promotion of entrepreneurship education in vocational high schools. To accomplish the purpose of the study, the current situation and problems of Korean entrepreneurship education in vocational high schools were reviewed through the previous related studies and materials, and the present condition of entrepreneurship education in United States was reviewed. As for the promotion of entrepreneurship education in vocational high schools, the following tasks were presented: 1) The improvement of recognition for entrepreneurship education and the expansion of infrastructure for entrepreneurship education should be needed; 2) The work-oriented entrepreneurship programs and teaching & learning methods should be developed and implemented; 3) The professionalism of teachers should be strengthened; 4) The support from companies is strongly needed and the networking of related organizations should be built.
