In recently there are 756 persons per 0.1million of United States. This is 5 times more than much 158 prisoners of populations of world. And 1 per 31 persons of United States have experience inmate or supervision by parole officers. United States have many economic difficulty and have to burden 68billion. Since 2008 the economic recession is very serious in United States. So Federal Government and every state government began to reduce corrections budgets. Eventually their effects are reveal in 2009. Some states reducing parole requirements and downsizing programs, meals and snacks, medical service. Moreover Some states fire out manager corrective officers or suspending hiring. In addition, some states reducing community supervision and corrective programs. Even though some states reducing or changing or suspending of special program to sex offenders and drug addict offenders. But these corrections reform policies have some problems. Because There are so many early release prisoners. Their recidivism danger are very high. And Rigid incarceration necessary to some nonviolent offenders who early parolee. Also almost parolee's families have not special corrective knowledge and enough money. Obviously these policies effects reducing corrective budgets and closing prison and hiring freezing of corrective officers. But also these are be caused burden families and community. Eventually some reforms shifts corrective budgets from governments to families and societies. But new reforms have some goodness. Especially reducing incarceration and positive rewards to inmates who have good attitude in prison, inducing of attention of families and societies. I think, these correction reforms of United States effect to many country. Because also many country have economic difficulty. And I would like to summarize about suggestions of correction reforms of United States. First, it is necessary to rigid monitoring to correction budgets. Second, we have to reduce incarceration and develop diversion or community corrections. And we have to preparation of analysis to costs and effects. Third, we have to development of special program to sex offenders and insane inmates who need much correction budgets. And we try to induce social consensus about special correction budgets and community programs. Fourth, we have to study about share of correction budgets with intimate or their families and societies.
