This study examined the poetry that reveal the various figuration and landscape of Han-yang in the form of ‘Jipgyongsi’(集景詩) which mean scene collecting poetry. The city of Han-yang appeared in many kinds of arts from the early Joseon dynasty to contemporary Seoul as a capital. These works reflected change to the times. In the early days, the model of ‘Shindopalkyong’ by Jeong Dojeon(1342~1398) show us Han-yang as ideal space politically. On the another hand, ‘Namsanpalyoung’ by Jeong Yioh(1347~1434) included real scenery in Han-yang. In 15 century, ‘Handosibyoung’ by Seo Geojeong (1420~1488) established beautiful poetic imagery, and the literary group who were famous writers followed his poetic archetype. In 16 century, the retro style appeared, which succeeded the eight scenery poetry tradition of early days. And some special works form Bae Samik(1534~1599) and Kim Sangheon(1570~1652) reflected personal experience on the landscape. In late Joseon dynasty, Han-yang began to change into city instead of pastoral space though, scene collecting poetry rejected change. But the landscape in ‘Jipgyongsi’ present us forgotten beautiful medieval picture of Han-yang.
