The aim of this study is to analyze key opportunity factors in Latin America in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, focusing on consumption rather than production. In this study, three important factors of opportunity that Latin America in the 4th industrial revolution era has were analyzed as follows. First, in Latin America, the penetration of digital devices such as mobile phones is faster and higher than other developing countries. In particular, the use of SNS is the most active in the world. Second, Latin America has a high urbanization rate, which is a treasure house of creativity in the 4th Industrial Revolution era. The level of urbanization in Latin America is about twice the global average. This high urbanization rate creates enormous business opportunities in areas such as Smart City, the platform of the 4th Industrial Revolution. Third, Latin America has accumulated a higher level of knowledge and skills in the fields of physics and biotechnology, which are important academic areas in the 4th Industrial Revolution era, compared to other developing countries. On the basis of these opportunities, in Latin America, Tecnolatinas has emerged as a concrete entity of the 4th Industrial Revolution and is growing rapidly. Tecnolatinas is a technology-based private company in Latin America that is a digital venture company, mostly operating in the international market. Despite these positive factors, there are many challenges to be solved by Latin American countries in the period of the 4th Industrial Revolution. First of all, the fourth industrial revolution is not well perceived by each country in Latin America and its government and private sector are not responsive to it. Second, the use of the fourth industrial revolution technology is focused on consumption rather than production. Finally, there is concern that the digital divide between Latin America countries and in the country will deepen.

O objetivo deste estudo é analisar os principais fatores de oportunidade na América Latina na era da 4ª Revolução Industrial, com foco no consumo e não na produção. Neste estudo, três importantes fatores de oportunidade que a América Latina na 4ª era da revolução industrial tem foram analisados da seguinte forma. Primeiro, na América Latina, a penetração de dispositivos digitais, como telefones celulares, é mais rápida e superior que outros países em desenvolvimento. Em particular, o uso do redes sociais(SNS) é o mais ativo no mundo. Em segundo lugar, a América Latina tem uma alta taxa de urbanização, que é um tesouro da criatividade na 4 ª era da Revolução Industrial. O nível de urbanização na América Latina é aproximadamente o dobro da média global. Essa alta taxa de urbanização cria enormes oportunidades de negócios em áreas como Smart City, a plataforma da 4ª Revolução Industrial. Em terceiro lugar, a América Latina acumulou um maior nível de conhecimento e habilidades nos campos da física e da biotecnologia, que são áreas acadêmicas importantes na 4ª era da Revolução Industrial, em comparação com outros países em desenvolvimento. Com base nessas oportunidades, na América Latina, Tecnolatinas surgiu como uma entidade concreta da 4ª Revolução Industrial e está crescendo rapidamente. A Tecnolatinas é uma empresa privada baseada em tecnologia na América Latina que é uma empresa de risco digital, principalmente operada no mercado internacional. Apesar desses fatores positivos, há muitos desafios a serem resolvidos pelos países latino-americanos no período da 4ª Revolução Industrial. Em primeiro lugar, a quarta revolução industrial não é bem percebida por cada país na América Latina e seu governo e setor privado não respondem a ela. Em segundo lugar, o uso da tecnologia da quarta revolução industrial é focado no consumo e não na produção. Finalmente, há preocupação de que a divisão digital entre países da América Latina e no país irá se aprofundar.
