This study is to develop an instructional program of the ‘Ecology' using CPS(Creative Problem Solving) to improve students' scientific creativity and to evaluate the validity of the program. There are revealed to the process of creative problem solving of ecologists to investigate their own research question. Therefore, the change of ecological investigation themes appeared in the history of ecology was rearranged. 6 themes in the history of ecology were selected for planning ecology lessons, and a CPS Program was developed in this study about these themes. The instructional program included ecological following topics for 6 class: The relation between life and environment, synecology, the population ecology, the material cycle and energy flow. Each lecture has many problem-solving activities which were demanded using scientific creative thinking such as convergent thinking and divergent thinking. The program was applied to 10th grade science high-school students to evaluate the validity of this program. The program was found that it was leaded to use creative thinking to solve the scientific problem.
