The purpose of this study is to analyse the types of analogies generated by science highschool students and to find out the effects on science related attitude when they performed 'Making science newspaper'. For the investigation, 73 science highschool 10th graders were selected, and they divided into control groups 2 classes 40 students and experiment groups 2 class 33 students. The experiment group performed making newspaper which applied the Analogy-generating about the chapter 'Cell and Metabolism' in high school 'Life Science Ⅱ'. The results are as follows: first, science highschool students used more systematicness than surface similarity analogy and more verbal-pictorial descriptions; second, it was positive there were few mapping errors in using analogy not simple and additional but amplication analogies; third, science high school students frequently used concrete analogy for abstract. It needed reconstitute situation by themselves so it seemed they had to ruminate scientific concepts; fourth, they used creative and unique analogies than common analogy. sixth, in science related attitude, there were significantly difference at pre-post test in adoption of scientific attitudes and enjoyment of science lessons, leisure interest in science.
