This article discusses the Activities of the Korean Engineers in textile industry after the Liberation in Korea. Previous studies on the Korean economy explained that the Korean did not fill up a technology gap after the Liberation. And the gap filled up by Foreign Aids, that is, it was hardly found an independent effort of the Korean. This study does not compromise with these previous claims, First, the Korean Engineers who worked since the Japanese Colonial Period improved their ability and operated Large Scale Cotton Textile Factories after the Liberation. Most of them graduated from Kyungseong Higher Industrial School(京城高等工業學校) and worked Kyungseong Spinning Company(京城紡織株式會社) which belongs to Korean. Second, the Korean Engineers enlarged and reorganized a research institute. They tried to have a technical improvement and founded a research institution. And they tried to catch up with a worldwide up-to-date technology and formed organization for technical improvement. Third, the Korean Engineers made an effort to spread their technique. Therefore they opened short courses depending on several grade and published some books and educated at an educational institution.
