The purpose of this paper is to analyze Islamic Fundamentalism and what values radical Islamic Fundamentalists hold. Also it is to criticize the war on terrorism which the USA started. To achieve these aims, I will survey the September 11th terrorist attacks and the idea of the Jihad. I will propose a realistic solution to the problem of Islamic Fundamentalists’ Terrorism from the perspective of christian ethics.Terrorism is an act where terrorist enforce radical terror, fear and anxiety on people to achieve their political purpose. Hopeless Muslims expose their rage and frustration in a radical method through suicide bombings in the name of a Jihad.The September 11th terrorist attacks provided unrecovered injury, fear and panic to the world in the form of indiscriminate violence and vulnerability of the innocent. We recognized the nature of human’s destruction from the September 11th.The war against terrorism that America adopted after September 11th is the wrong solution. The result of the war is more terrible than terrorism. Islamic Fundamentalism is an idea or movement that keeps Koranic teachings and practices it in common life.A Jihad justifies their radical and ruthless terrorism by Islamic Fundamentalists. However, The Great Jihad was identified as the internal Jihad or struggle against one’s soul in the practice of righteousness.Therefore, we must analyze the distorted ideology in radical terrorism and recover the original meaning of Jihad. Spontaneously, we must correct western prejudices and the wrong viewpoint toward Islamic Fundamentalism and Jihad.Tolerance and respect are good elements to overcome the prejudice and self righteousness like as Fundamentalism. We must also correct the international injustice system and explore ways of coexistence and prosperity together. We must teach and practice the love of life in the basis of the idea of respect for life.
