This paper examines a political economy of Trans-Korea Railway(TKR) and Trans-Continental Railway. The purposes of this paper was to consider a question in all its aspects. Linking of Two Koreas’ Railway, inter-Korean economic cooperation, linking the Trans-Korea Railway and Trans-Continental Railway, and reunification of North and South Korea should be considered not separately, but as a whole. Korea is located in the center of intricate webs on interests among USA, Russia, China and Japan. Every country pursues its own interests. They have conflicting interests about reunification of North and South Korea. They have not declared publicly on reunification of North and South Korea. They announced their position of principle. Reunification of North and South Korea is a hard and complex process that requires meticulous planning. The decision of divide the Korean peninsula into two nations was a devastating one made by outside forces. Korean peninsula represents one of the last remnants of the Cold War era. North and South Korea have long been a divided nation, serving as the buffer zone between capitalism and socialism. Some peripheral nation can have a plot to perpetuate the division of the Korean peninsula. We have nothing to fear pessimism about reunification of North and South Korea but rosy illusions about reunification of North and South Korea.
