The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of leadership model on psychological ownership and job engagement in order to focused on the employees of the sports organization. To complete this purpose, researchers chose the subjects 310 employees from 28 sports organization in Gyeonggi-do, Korea with convenient sampling method by e-mail, one of the non-probability sampling, excluding 18 insufficient respondents out of 328.
Date was analyzed by reliability analysis, correlation analysis, exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis, and structural equation analysis, with SPSS Ver. 23.0 Windows Program and Amos Ver. 21.0 program.
The results were as follows; First, the leadership model had a statistically significant effect both on organizational and functional ownership. Second, the leadership model had a statistically significant effect on vitality factor in job engagement. Third, the leadership model had a statistically significant effect on dedication factor in job engagement. Fourth, the leadership model had a statistically significant effect on immersion factor in job engagement. Last, it was found that psychological ownership was a statistically significant effect on vitality factor in job engagement however the psychological ownership had no statistically significant effect both on vitality and dedication factor in job engagement.
