The study analyzes the public asset of Gyeonggi-do according to the change of policy paradigm and suggests the management system and efficient improving alternatives suitable for the new social demand.
In the meantime, public assets are no clear objectives for how to use them. The use of public assets and increasing profits by utilizing them began to show great interest and because of this new shifts for the public assets have been tried. We review literatures and cases of local public asset and focusing on increasing profits and professionalism of public officials.
Specifically, public asset policy changed to active management system; and it is necessary to define criterion for assessing the land price or to appraise the property value according to the purpose of leasing. We conduct literature reviews and surveys to confirm the professionalism of public officials in charge of public asset management, we propose a plan to uses the expertise of departments and external agencies.
