The study of discourse markers has attracted more and more attention， more and more idioms analyzed as discourse markers, but foundation of theoretical research of discourse markers is actually very weak, the existing research on the basic concepts understand of discourse markers is mechanical, If not all, then at least some of the so-called discourse markers are not part of discourse markers, which requires re-identification combined with basic concept. This paper discusses this problem with “Ladaoba”(拉倒吧). The complement phrase “Ladaoba”(拉倒吧) composed by the verb “Ladao”(拉倒) and modal particls “Ba”(吧), mainly used to stop on behavior (including action and speech act) or negate the suggestion. Which can be used alone to complete communication, and can also form different logical relations with the following sentences, can not be free deleted, all these can prove that “Ladaoba” is component on reflecting sentence proposition, is not meta language component, nor discourse markers. The previous view that treat “Ladaoba” as discourse markers is not appropriate, the reason lies in the understanding of the relevant basic concepts of discourse markers is not clear. It is urgent to study the basic concept of discourse markers, which needs to be paid more attention to.
