A study on the Gut in the southern part of Gyeonggi-do tends to concentrate on the Dodanggut called Village-gut. Compared to Village-gut, Home-gut is very poorly researched. For research on the complete understanding of the Gut is needed to Home-gut, and the target material becomes the Saenamgut gut of Gyeonggi-do. It is highly valuable as the only video data in the absence of Home-gut data.
The purpose of this writing is to understand the principle of performance in Saenamgut, one of Home-gut in southern Gyeonggi-do, through Jangdan. Most of the Gut is performed by the gangdang, due to the fact that the key element behind its arrest is gangdan. Jangdan is just one element, but it is the basis that it combines with all other intrigues to create a procedure, organize a rite, and achieve a branch of Gut that is called an entire rite.
The musical aspects of individual rhythms used in Saenamgut were first identified, and then the composition of the rhythms was focused on each gutgari. Based on this, we briefly looked at the structure of the rhythms of the whole good.
I don’t think the above findings are sufficient to explain Saenamgut. Although it is necessary to approach from various angles, it is hoped that this article will lead to further researches to other branches.
