The purpose of this qualitative study is about the theory of Waldorfeducation.
The Waldorfkindergarten is concepted by Rudolf Steiner(1816-1925). His conception is based on anthroposophy and development theory. Anthroposophy covers nearly all the fields as kindergarten, school, natural science, medicine, agriculture, economics, architecture, art. etc.
Waldorfchildcare and education is based on Steiner’s development theory. He considers of Humandevelopment as several-year rhythm. The first phase is during 7 year. The children at this phase learn through imitation and model. Will is the important for this age. The second phase is 7-14 age. During the second phase learn the children how to do feeling. The third phase is since 14 until 21. The children at this phase learn how to do thinking. The important point of Waldorfeducation is harmony of body, mind and spirits, and this Waldorfeducation aims whole child.
Waldorfeducation is introduced in Korea since 1995 by books, study, symposium, etc.
