Today’s Education loses it’s original meaning that lies on ‘Education’ itself, and it has been used as a tool to achieve success. I looked into WangYangmyung’s philosophy of Education to find out alternative way of education, and compared with Waldorf Education which is one of alternative educations. Wangyangmyung and Steiner maintain all Human being who has subjectivity is precious. They also talked about Philosophy of Education based on their own theory which are Yangjiron and Antrophosophy(12senses)
Wang’s purpose of education is training Jihaenghapil, and Steiner’s is training human who strives the State oriented. They have same opinion for education not as a tool for the future but as a tool for this moment. The role of teacher is the most important part for The best education. Teacher can watch children’t health growing and take the roll of director to complete Healthy education. I hope Wang and Steiner’s philosophy of Education can help to overcome our current problems in education.
