This study sought to investigate the influencing relationship of airport employees’ job stress and emotional exhaustion on their turnover intention along with any regulation effect of such influencing relationship according to airport employees’ working type. In addition, this study seeks to investigate any difference in job stress, emotional exhaustion and turnover intention according to airport employees’ demographic characteristics and working type. Employees at the Incheon International Airport of South Korea were surveyed by being grouped into airport partner company employees (security check/information/lost and found, etc.) and airline ground employees. A total of 254 sets of data were obtained for study analysis. Based on the investigation results, the conclusion was found as follows; First, airport employees’ turnover intention had a positive effect on both emotional exhaustion and job stress and the emotional exhaustion was found to have a relatively stronger effect. Second, the regulation effect of airport employees depending on their working type was found significant. Airport partner company employees’ turnover intention was more affected by emotional exhaustion while airline ground employees’s turnover intention was more affected by job stress. Third, with respect to airport employees, job stress, emotional exhaustion and turnover intention were found relatively higher in female workers, and aged 30 or younger.
