This study attempted to suggest policy directions and projects for the adolescents from multicultural families by analyzing the past policy suggestions from 2011 to 2016 and reviewing multicultural youth-related laws and policies by bureau in the Republic of Korea. For this, it analyzed and assessed the followings: Korean and foreign multicultural youth-related laws and master plans and major multicultural youth policies by bureau. Furthermore, it evaluated if the policy suggestions should be implemented through comprehensive analysis and derived and proposed multicultural youth policy direction and projects through SWOT analysis. The directions and projects of the derived policies are as stated herein. The vision that multicultural youth should have is ‘Build Mature and Prosperous Society’, and the purposes are i) to create future growth engine for society and ii) to build an equal and fair society without prejudice. First, to create future growth engine for society, it is targeted to narrow down the academic and career gap between multicultural and non-multicultural adolescents. For this, it is needed to help multicultural youth build their competency and strengthen support group’s capabilities. Second, to build an equal and fair society without prejudice, it is aimed to increase multicultural acceptance. For this, it is suggested to build multiculture-friendly environments and establish a multicultural youth support policy promotion system. A total of 11 projects under such strategies were mentioned, and the roadmap for each project was introduced.
