To look at Luther and Calvin’s reform thoughts at the 500th anniversary of Luther’s Reformation is to keep the roots of the Korean church rightly today. For this work, I think; finding the right interpretation and application of Peter"s confession of faith in Matthew 16:15-20 will be a chance to see again the identity of Korean Protestantism today. This is because it is important that this passage includes the full authority over the deportation or acceptance of the Church and is based on this verse claiming that the Roman parish supervisor of the Catholic Church is the chief of the whole church.
Through a study of whether Peter’s assignment entrusted to Peter or to all the apostles, this study should be understood not only in Matthew but also in the contrast between Mark and other Gospels will be. On the question of what the pastor thinks about this issue, exploring the idea of rectification is like laying the foundations of commutation on the current and future research for the Korean church.
Unlike the previous era, now we live in a crisis era before the challenge of secularization. In the flow of this age, LEE Sang Keun is in the important position to study the right way to choose the churches, pastors, and believers of this age. Lee also lived a difficult age, but he is a person who has not fallen into difficulties and opened a new era.
We should be able to make the future of the Korean church renewable while tracing its footsteps. To find out the reform ideas in the commentary of Matthew in rectification will be the work of examining the position of the Korean church. And this study will be an important guide to find the way for Korean churches.
In seeking a new way to find a Korean church in front of this transformational age, he tried to find a reformative spirit in his thought through the commentary of the Essence. The pastor commented on Matthew 16:19 and thought the kingdom of heaven as a church that Calvin"s interpretation as “the absolute power of the Church, as well as Christ,” when he saw the kingdom of heaven as a church, and thought that this right was “always exercised through man.” He trusted Calvin, the Reformed Reformer, and acceptted the ideas of the Reformer, and took over the tradition and spirit.
