This study has given a concrete invedtigation into which narrator is involved in what way in the discourse of 『Millim』, a work by Kim Mal Bong, and how important they are in the narrator`s enunciation and characters` dialogue. In 『Millim』the authorial narrator sometimes tells the names of characters or secrets in a playful or sincere manner and warns statement or question. In other times he retrospectively tells the causes of certain results and reveals his emotions of some events in a preaching manner. The active and various forms of involvement of the authorial narrator enhances the interest of readers and helps their understanding, which results in a better communication with the readers. Although it is typical in the narrative text that the narrator`s enunciation is more important than the dialogue among characters, in 『Millim』the dialogue is much more important than the narrator`s enunciation. The fact that the reportorial statement is more prevalent than scenic description is instrumental in a better communication between the writer and the readers. Effective discourse as it is, 『Millim』could attract all the walks of the readers` interest.
