The purpose of this study was to research the variables effect on Korean language learner`s intelligibility and search correlation among lots of variables. For this purpose, foreign learners of nine basic levels and nine intermediate levels took part in this research. Intelligibility rates obtained from three speech language pathologists and the Percentage of Correct Consonant (PCC) of each participant were analyzed by speech language pathology. The main results of this study are Speakers` gender, age, had no effect on intelligibility significantly. In addition, this study also showed that there were no positive relationships between PCC, self-esteem and learner`s intelligibility. However, there was a significant correlation between the learner`s level and word intelligibility.
