This study is about the verification of effectiveness of the career exploration and work experience program, the purpose of this study is the impact on career decision making self-efficacy and career decision of career exploration and indirect work experience program for college students. For this study, the 3rd year 254 students who had taken a career and career choice courses were selected at the S university in Seoul in 2014. To verify the effectiveness of the program, the pre and post survey on career decision making self-efficacy and career decision were analyzed and open survey on indirect work experience was investigated for career conscious change of the subjects. The results of this study were as follows. First, the career exploration and work experience program impacted on the significant change of career decision making self-efficacy and career decision. Second, the result of examining about career conscious changes through indirect work experience, the subjects understood the need to do to prepare for employment through the acquisition realistic career information, had set clear goals and to establish an action plan. Another was confident and positive thinking and could also form human networks. The career exploration and work experience program should be operated at the universities to provide students with opportunities to correct career choice and career realization. Also, indirect work experience through interview with professionals should be considered as an alternative of internship.

본 연구는 대학생을 대상으로 한 진로탐색 및 직업체험 프로그램의 효과성 검증에 관한 연구로 진로탐색 및 직업체험 프로그램이 진로결정 자기효능감, 진로결정수준에 미치는 영향과 간접적 직업체험을 통한 진로의식 변화에 대해 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 진행하였다. 이를 위하여 2014년 1학기 서울 소재 S대학교에서 진로와 직업선택 교과목을 수강한 3학년 학생 254명을 연구대상자로 선정하였다. 프로그램의 효과성 검증을 위해서 진로결정 자기효능감과 진로결정수준에 대한 사전 사후 조사 결과를 분석하였고 간접적 직업체험 실시 후 개방형 설문을 실시하여 연구대상자들의 진로의식 변화에 대해 고찰하였다. 본 연구의 결과 분석을 통해 다음과 같은 결론을 얻을 수 있었다. 첫째, 진로탐색 및 직업체험 프로그램은 대학생의 진로결정 자기효능감과 진로결정수준의 변화에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 개방형 질문지의 응답내용을 토대로 간접적 직업체험을 통한 대학생들의 진로의식 변화에 대해 살펴본 결과, 연구대상자들은 현실적인 직업정보 습득을 통해 취업을 위해 준비해야 할 사항에 대해 이해하였으며, 명확한 목표를 설정하고 실행계획을 수립할 수 있었다. 또 취업에 대한 자신감과 긍정적인 생각을 갖게 되었고 취업을 위한 인적네트워크도 형성할 수 있었다. 이러한 결과는 직업인과의 만남을 통한 간접적 직업체험을 포함하는 진로탐색 프로그램의 효과성을 입증한 것으로 학생들에게 올바른 진로선택과 진로실현의 기회를 제공하기 위해 대학은 진로탐색 및 직업체험 프로그램을 다루는 학사운영을 보다 활성화해야 할 것이다. 또 대학생들이 인턴십 기회를 갖기 어려운 현실에서 직업인과의 만남을 통한 간접적 형태의 직업체험은 이에 대한 대안으로 검토될 필요가 있을 것이다.
