The purpose of Yeojidoseo was to investigate the change of local societies and the foundation of tax acquisition, and also to enhance the efficiency of local government. So to speak, Yeojidoseo was the government Jiriji empathized its administrational and practical character. Its usual speciality appears in Ganghwa, Gyodong, Yeongjong, and Incheon, Bupyeong. In comparison of these 5 provinces, Yeojidoseo contained the new items like Bangri(towns), Hogu(population), Doro(roads), Gyeonggye(border), Seongji(the land of castle), Mokjang(stock farms), Jeeon(dams), Changgo(warehouses), Hanjeon(field), Sujeon(paddy field), Jingong(industry and commerce), Bongjin(dedicating), Jojeok(selling and buying grain), Jeonse(tax on field and paddy field), Semi(giving rice to government as tax), Daedong(unity), Gyunse(tax in equal), Gyunyeok(labour for tax in equal), Bongreum(payment for government officials), Gunbyeong(the militaries), Gunhyang(food for the militaries), etc, which were not included in Sinjeung dongguk yeoji seungnam. Researching these new items with existing items that is duplicated in Sinjeung dongguk yeoji seungnam, we could find the circumstance of the natural environment, human geography, or the administrational system, the militaries organization and taxation management in the early 18th century Incheon. However, Yeojidoseo was not published officially, and organized in a consistent system. Therefore, there were a lot of differences between record and the realities. The differences also appeared by Goeul(towns) that even they were in the same Do(province). The character of Yeojidoseo was also shown in Ganghwa, Gyodong, Yeongjong, and Incheon, Bupyeong. Comparing with the information form of 'family names' and 'individuals' and the collecting trend of literature, we found that Ganghaw had different tendency from other provinces. The changes of Sinjeung dongguk yeoji seungnam seemed to have been accepted in Ganghwa province more than others. When we studied the states from Yeojidoseo in the early 18th century in Ganghwa, Gyodong, Yeongjong, and Incheon, Bupyeong, compared with Sinjeung dongguk yeoji seungnam, Ganghwa had much better conditions than others in Hogu and Mulsan(produce), also it had good natural environment and the foundation of life. The central government also managed Ganghwa specially for the protection of capital Hanyang, so Gangdobu(the department of Ganghwa province and other places near Ganghwa)was in the center of Ganghwa from the view of economics and the militaries. According to the study, we found that Ganghwa recorded much more contents in the aspect of quality and quantity that others in Yeojidoseo.
