This paper discussed the status of the JaejiSajok(a local nobleman). Mainly used historical data is 『YangjindangSilki(養眞堂實記) . Especially since 1728 the Musin revolt(戊申亂), I focused on JaejiSajok(a local nobleman) in Kyongsangdo Hapcheon area. And I analyzed the petition activity and their solidarity.
ChoSungJoa(曺聖佐) was one of the prime mover of the Musin revolt. However, his relatives were ChoHanyou(曺漢儒) is opposed to him. As a result, the Musin revolt failed. And the government has suppressed the area. In response, the JaejiSajok(a local nobleman) had to prove their loyalty. One of these activities was the petition for ChoHanyou(曺漢儒).
As a result of analysis, their political advance was blocked since 1728. And their social status was weakened. Therefore they were cooperated with each other in order to regain their social status. In addition they were striving to regain their honor.
